R S C M Devon Area
The R S C M Devon area has been a thriving division of the Royal School
of Church Music over many years. We are fortunate in having Buckfast Abbey,
near Buckfastleigh in South Devon as a base for some of our events,
and Exeter Cathedral, with its Director of Music,
Andrew Millington, and the assistant organist, Stephen Tanner as members of our committee.
We cover a wide area, stretching from north of Barnstaple and east of
Colyton, westward as far as Plymouth and the Tamar. We have members
and affiliates from places as wide ranging as Exmoor and Dartmoor
through to Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth.
We invite members of affiliated choirs, individual members and Friends
to receive regular information about Area and regional events by E-Mail,
in addition to publicity in "The Network".
